2012 Review, Happy 2013

It's been a while since my last blog post, but the last month were very stressful. 2012 was an awesome year.

I started to blog in January and it wasn't as easy as I thought. I tried to blog every week or 2 weeks but as you can see I was not so successful. I hope this will change in 2013.

I also did a lot of certification this year. An Austrian VMware trainer pressed me to do the VCAP certifications and it was the right decision. Started with May I passed VCAP4 (DCA,DCD), VCAP5 (DCA,DCD) and VCP-Cloud. I also completed the whole Citrix CCEE track. I was also invited to several beta exams and product betas. I attended VMworld US and EMEA which were both very awesome and I meet some very cool people (Michael Webster, Jason Boche, Scott Lowe, Mikko Nykyri and much more). In november I did a webinar for Veeam which was a new experience for me and I think this was not the last time I did such stuff.

In 2013 I will switch to a new job, which is indeed a new challenge and I will move to our new house, which is the reason I hadn't so much time for my home lab and for blog posts. Maybe I will also challenge myself to do the VCDX.

Best wishes to everyone in 2013 and a happy new year.
