Backup Interoperability Matrix Major Update 2016-12

During my last  Backup Interoperability Matrix update I decided to went from a single matrix page to a multiple matrix page and also removed old versions of vSphere. In detail this means I created the following pages:

•  Backup Interoperability Matrix for vSphere
•  Backup Interoperability Matrix for Hyper-V
•  Backup Interoperability Matrix for vSphere 4.x to 5.1

I also went to a more automated form of the  Backup Interoperability Matrix. I created a Google Sheet for the matrix and import it automatically into TablePress. This saved me a lot of time compared to manually updating the matrix through the TablePress editor. With Google Sheets it’s much easier to update the whole backup software stack and only reference to them for the vSphere and Hyper-V matrix.
In the December update the following backup software was updated:

The information for vSAN, VVOL 1.0 and VVOL 2.0 isn’t complete yet. I’m currently waiting for some feedback which backup vendor supports it.
